1. Nottingham Shakespeare present The Tempest

Nottingham Shakespeare Company (NSC) is thrilled to unveil their newest outdoor touring show, a fast paced and funny production of Shakespeare's final comedy, The Tempest. In a circus inspired 90-minute production, full of music, song and fun, this exploration of love, magic, and the power of forgiveness is sure to be a hit with audiences of all ages. Directed by longstanding NSC member Alastair Fiori-McPheem with a cast of company favourites and new faces alike, they’re unbelievably excited to welcome you to the big top!

2. Helios

Wednesday 29 July – Saturday 15 August 2026 | Southwell Minster | Tickets: £3 - £5

Helios is a new touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring seven metres in diameter, the artwork features 72dpi detailed imagery* of the Sun's surface. At an approximate scale of 1:200 million, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 2000km of the Sun's surface. The installation is a fusion of solar imagery, sunlight and a specially created surround sound composition by Duncan Speakman and Sarah Anderson.

3. Summer of Play

Saturday 18 July – Sunday 6 September 2026 | 10am – 5pm | Clumber Park | Free with park admission

Get stuck in with Clumber Park's Summer of Play offering 6 interactive zones, crammed full of imaginative ways to play. Burn off some energy in the Active Zone with various fun sports activities, let out the true performer in you at the Imagination Zone, focus on the senses in the Nature Zone,

Join in on outdoor fun at the Loose Parts Zone, enjoy the Heritahe Zone for some traditional fun, or check out the Toddler Zone for little ones. On top of an already jam-packed Summer of Play, you can also discover an all-new Pokémon zone with straw bale arena at the centre of the Front Field.

4. Sounds of the Stone Age Cave Experience

Mondays & Fridays between 3 – 28 August 2026 | Creswell Crags | Tickets: £8 per person

How did our ancestors make music? Journey to the deepest part of Robin Hood Cave to learn about the prehistoric instruments archaeologists have unearthed from sites around the world, and become a Stone Age drummer! Perfect for those who love to make lots of noise.

5. Wolds Wine Estate – Vineyard Tour and Tastings

Every Saturday until 24 October 2026 | 11am & 2pm | Wolds Wine Estate | £25

Venture down for a tour of the Estate vineyard and orchard. You will be guided around the Estate and provided an informal tasting of Estate produced wines and the Estate-made craft cider. You will explore the cider orchard and vineyard whilst enjoying stops along the way to taste wine and learn about viticulture and life on the Estate.
