Ghost hunts and spooky tales after dark at the National Justice Museum

Dark rooms, spooky stories and ghosts hiding around every corner…we joined the Kids’ Ghost Tour at the National Justice Museum, and what an evening it was!

Leading the way was Ghostbuster Jessie (Actor) who was enthusiastic and brought the museum to life with spooky tales, plenty of energy and one mission only to catch the ghosts hiding in the National Justice Museum. Armed with her proton blaster and her trusty rucksack to collect the Gouls and ghosts, she had the children completely in awe as they stepped into the world of ghost hunting in true Ghostbuster style!

But this wasn’t just a tour where you stood and listened. The children became ghost hunters themselves, searching for clues and hunting for ghosts along the way. With dark rooms, enclosed spaces and plenty of spooky stories, it was a great way for little thrill seekers to get involved with the scarier side of Halloween, with parents and carers there every step of the way. The kids had a brilliant time exploring, and there was just the right amount of fright!

The National Justice Museum also brought a bit of history into the evening. One of the UK’s former historic jails and courthouses, it gave the children the chance to explore dark prison cells and traditional courtrooms, some of which remained in use until the 1980s. With tales of crime, punishment and the legend of Robin Hood woven into Nottingham’s history, it was a great way to combine Halloween fun with a bit of learning along the way.

If you haven’t booked our tickets yet, there’s still time to join this ghostly adventure. Book now to grab one of the final slots for the Kids’ Ghost Tour on until Saturday 31 October. Tickets are £8.95 for children and £7.95 for adults, with the tour recommended for ages 5-11.
