Experience both land and water-based excitement at Adventures.
Adventures is owned and operated by Nottinghamshire County Council. It opened in summer 2024 and is located by the scenic King’s Mill Reservoir between Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield.
The park is less than 5 miles from junction 28 of the M1.
There are exhilarating activities to suit all ages:

Whether you're planning a family day out, or just looking to burn off some energy, this is the place to be. It’s all about fresh air, confidence building, and making lifelong memories.
It is the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine and jump into unforgettable experiences. Thrill seekers can enjoy high-flying attractions on land and a whole new perspective from the reservoir, whether you're gliding across the water solo or paddling with friends.
High Trek (7-11years require 1 participating adult for every 3 people)
Ropes courses at a thrilling 6metres and 10 metres, offering an adrenaline-fueled aerial experience. Suspended high above ground, you’ll navigate swinging logs, Indiana bridges, and daring zip lines that test your balance, courage, and sense of adventure.
100 metre Dual Zip Line Experience
Test your courage by setting off from the top of the tower and landing in a giant air bag
There are a pair of wires so you can race a friend
Net Park
A suspended playground where you can bounce, climb and explore with spectacular views of King’s Mill Reservoir.
The Drop (ages 16 and above)
Leap from platforms at 4metres, 6metres and 9metres into a giant inflatable airbag.
Water activities
There are changing rooms, showers and lockers available at our check-in centre.
Refuel and Relax
After your adventure, unwind with a coffee from our check in centre – roasted by ‘200 Degrees’ - or treat yourself to hot and cold meals and homemade cakes at the neighbouring Mill Waters Café.
Opening days
Adventures is open at weekends and daily in schools holidays.
Bookings are recommended but walk-ins can often be accommodated at the next session time.
Group bookings and team building visits can be arranged at other times to suit.
