Join the team for an enchanting Christmas at Newstead this December

  • Delight in the outdoor festive storybook scenes on display in the windows
  • Enjoy a wintery walk through the park and grounds
  • Discover with the storybook outdoor trail
  • Get inspired with gifts and treats, from craft stalls, café & deli kiosk (takeaway) and retail shop

You’ll find festive fun for your family and for everyone, of all ages.

The best news is that many Christmas at Newstead activities are free, so you can come along and enjoy! *


Storybook Festive Scenes

Delight in a Storybook Christmas at Newstead Abbey with outdoor festive scenes from Saturday 5 December – Sunday 3 January.
 

Wander around the grounds and gaze up at the Historic House to discover all nine storybook themed displays with their outdoor spectacle.

 

If you play close attention peering through the windows and nooks and crannies of Newstead’s Historic House, you can find the storybook characters as part of the storybook outdoor trail. £5 per trail available from the shops and café kiosk *
 


Craft stalls (Weekends only)

Join us between 11am – 4pm (last entry 3pm)

  • Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 December
  • Saturday 12 & Sunday 13 December
  • Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 December

The craft stalls are available to enjoy as part of your walk *

The craft stalls are currently located in the cloisters via the retail shop, so where necessary, a queuing system may be required and masks must be worn indoors unless exempt from doing so.
