Creswell Crags
£28 per person
There have long been tales of ghostly apparitions on the Lake, of visitors feeling a presence, seeing unexplained lights or hearing noises deep in the cave. Dare you venture into Robin Hood's Cave and reach out to its unseen spirits?
Did local people think evil lurked in the cave, and try to keep it inside? Did they think the cave was an entrance to the underworld? Or were they protecting something inside the cave? This Halloween will see whether a paranormal investigation can shed any light onto the mystery – or maybe raise even more questions.
Derby Paranormal are inviting you to join them as they conduct a serious investigation of the cave. They will use a range of investigative techniques, challenging you with the evidence that you'll help them find, as you have a go with their scientific equipment. All we ask is that you come with an open, curious mind.
The Derbyshire Pie & Co on the Welbeck Estate will be supplying the delicious pies for the supper, packed to the brim with filling of locally sourced ingredients and encased with a divine hot water pastry. When you book your ticket you can choose your choice of pie from Beef and Ale, Minced Beef in Gravy, Chicken and Leek, Saag Aloo or Homity Pie. All served with mushy peas and gravy.
Pies will be served in the café at 5.30pm, followed by the paranormal investigation. Over 18s only please, due to the nature of the session.
