About

Monday 7 - Sunday 13 August 2023
Creswell Crags
£4 per family (up to 5 people)

What kind of a home did they build in the Ice Age?

In this fun hands-on session, you can have a go at Stone Age survival skills and see if you can build a suitable shelter that you could call home. Using real reindeer fur, leather and sticks, your family will work as a team to see if you have what it takes to survive the Ice Age. Once you have your shelter in place, the expert will teach you more about Ice Age survival, including the best way to build a fire and the techniques people used to keep themselves warm thousands of years ago.

All welcome, recommended for ages 4 plus.
