Creswell Crags
£65
Create your own Willow Hen, learning how to build a strong structure with character using the random weave technqiue.
Emma Parkins is an artist based in Belper, Derbyshire. Her work specialises in Willow sculpture, creating animals with character and movement and contemporary organic shapes. She has worked for clients all over the UK including National Trust properties Kedleston Hall, Hardwick Hall, Wakehurst Place, Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, Derby Royal Hospital and Sa Arts.
Emma is coming to Creswell to share her skills and will be running a day workshop making willow pheasants/hens, and is sure to be a great introduction to willow sculpture.
Our cafe is open for lunch (not provided) or you are welcome to bring your own and eat in our meadow picnic area.
