As part of the Nottingham Puppet Festival, the Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall invited us to experience the renowned Life of Pi stage show, which is in Nottingham from Monday 15th April – Saturday 20th April. Based on the best-selling book by Yann Martel which has sold over 15 million copies, the five-star hit show has won five Olivier Awards, including Best New Play.

Set in a futuristic world where criminals can be convicted before a crime has even been committed, Minority Report is a thought-provoking sci-fi drama which explores the murky realm between free will and predetermined fate.

Nestled in the heart of Nottingham in a stunning Watson Fothergill building, the newly opened sports bar BOX is quickly becoming a standout for both sports enthusiasts and casual patrons alike. We were invited inside to get an idea of what you can expect.

What’s the saying, remember remember the 5^th of November? Well I certainly won’t forget the fantastic Newark Family Fireworks Night that I attended this Bonfire Night in a hurry! 

If walls could talk, Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem could surely tell some tales! Believed to have been built in 1189 and suggested to have been a pit stop for crusader knights, this iconic pub, nestled at the foot of Nottingham Castle in the Sandstone cliff, is shrouded in history and mystery and firmly on every tourist’s bucket list when they visit the city!

This week, we were invited to see The Beekeeper of Aleppo at Nottingham Playhouse. This drama is running from Thursday 9th – Saturday 25th February, with various accessible performances available.
