We all know that Sherwood Forest was the hiding place of Robin Hood, but did you know that it was also used to hide tanks, ammunition and even a whole railway system during the Second World War? The Sherwood Forest and Newark area is steeped in modern history as well as medieval which is the focus of the Spirit of Wartime Sherwood Trail.

Confetti X is the brand new Esports venue in the heart of Nottingham City Centre. Bringing together years of expertise in live events, content creation, streaming and competitive gaming, the 14,000 sqft complex will host professional esports tournaments and events as well as coaching and training for teams.

In the effort of spicing things up during a long school holiday, we like to try new things, do something a little different, quirky or out of our comfort zone. This week, Ella (my 6 year old daughter) and I opted for a spot of Alpaca walking! We are both animal lovers and feel most at home on a farm, so we headed to Oak Tree Alpacas in Woodborough, a mere 6 miles from Nottingham City Centre.
