Always up for a challenge, I agreed to take on the Notts Maze ... the question - would I escape?

It started back in Summer 2021 when life was a bit of a strange one - COVID protectors were still in full force and everyone wanted to ensure that there safe and socially distanced – but on the other, we’ve been so bored cooped up inside during months of lockdowns that we’re desperate to get out there and have a good time while the sun’s out.

After a thousand years of rebellions, riots, revolts and rallies, Nottingham Castle has found itself time and time again at the heart of some rather dramatic events. Fast-forward to the 21st century and our iconic Castle is entering an exciting new chapter: and has just reopened following a 3-year, £30million transformation. The building itself is an elegant piece of architecture, and inside plays host to a range of thought-provoking exhibitions and events throughout the year. I was delighted to be invited to experience the current offering of art work, and try the food in their cafe  - I’m a sucker for a sculpture and a snack!
