Visit Nottinghamshire is proud to have been involved in two seasons of the exciting project that is The Grand Tour, so when the third season came around we were highly anticipating what it had in store.

From live music to tasty food and drink, caves, comedy and children’s theatre, there are no less than 26 festivals happening in Nottinghamshire in 2018. Throughout March and April you can find puppets, poetry and performing arts take over the city, with three brilliant festivals to explore.

Nottingham's Robin Hood Pageant is a one-of-a-kind event, celebrating the thrilling tales of noble outlaw Robin Hood. Set in the beautiful grounds of Nottingham Castle, high on Castle Rock, this immersive experience transports guests deep into the past, with the sights, sounds and smells of medieval England.

With the first ever Nottingham Puppet Festival, a microfilm festival offering an escape into intriguing narratives, the much-loved Robin Hood Pageant and the return of the art adventure, The Grand Tour, the to do list is overflowing this March. Dive in!

To coincide with this year’s anniversary of 250 years of circus, The Harley Gallery at Welbeck Estate are currently exhibiting Circus Work by Peter Lavery. This exhibition showcases a selection of 50 years of work which presents important examples of human and social documentation.

After seeing Hairspray at Theatre Royal Nottingham, I left with the biggest smile on my face!  The show is incredibly feel-good, with some outstanding performances throughout.
