The weather has been very kind to us recently, so we were excited to venture into the heart of the University of Nottingham’s Park Campus, where Bramleys Brasserie in the De Vere Orchard Hotel is nestled. It was the perfect day for a picnic-themed afternoon tea; the sun was shining, it was a Friday afternoon and perhaps most importantly, we were feeling quite peckish!

On the beautiful sunny evening, Jack Savoretti brought his ‘Singing to Strangers Tour’ to Sherwood Pines and my friends and I were treated to a magical performance in an equally magical venue.

Keen to get involved in the foraging renaissance and pick up some useful survival skills, Visit Nottinghamshire decided to book ourselves onto the trailblazing Foraging and Wild Food Cookery Course at the School of Artisan Food to see if it lived up to the hype.
