1. Garden of Light

Garden of Light will light up the town with a vibrant mix of light installations, projections, live performance and hands-on creative activity. This free event is designed for all ages and invites visitors to explore Newark in a new and imaginative way. With renewal, growth and community as its theme, Garden of Light will celebrate the transition from winter into spring through colour, light and shared experiences. 2. International Women’s Day – A Celebration

With displays about women with links to the Library, curated by the Bromley House team and talks on three of Nottingham's neglected authors: Eliza Sarah Oldham, Annie Matheson and Rose Fyleman, this event will honour women and their contribution to Nottingham’s history.
