A new era is ushered in at the Nottingham Playhouse with Giles Croft stepping down as Artistic Director after 18 wonderful years. Visit Notts' Chief Executive Brendan Moffett took in a performance of the first production in its new era.

After seeing Hairspray at Theatre Royal Nottingham, I left with the biggest smile on my face!  The show is incredibly feel-good, with some outstanding performances throughout.

As a first-time visitor to Holme Pierrepont Hall excitement built as I found my way down the country lane to the sign posted entrance.
