For the past decade, the good people behind Nottingham Comedy Festival have been championing our comedy scene with a fantastic festival showcasing local talent, as well as bringing some incredible acts into the city. We took a trip to The Canalhouse for a special edition of their renowned £1 comedy night to launch Nottingham Comedy Festival 2018, alongside some very special guests indeed.

After Pugs and Dachshunds, it was about time for the French Bulldogs to show Nottingham’s Café Sobar how it’s done. Being the animal lovers that we are here at Visit Nottinghamshire, we wouldn’t let this event go by quietly. So off we popped to the pop-up Frenchie Café on a sunny Sunday morning, and let’s be honest, being surrounded by adorable Frenchies is always a good way to spend a day out the office!
