We were delighted to attend the launch of the 35^th annual Robin Hood Festival today at the world-famous Sherwood Forest. It’s the first Robin Hood Festival taking place at the forest since the RSPB started managing this historic site, so we were excited to see what this year’s celebrations had to offer.

The Nottingham Beach is back, and it’s bigger and beachier than ever. Along with the buckets of sand, the paddling pool and other family-friendly attractions, this year there’s a brand-new and altogether more grown-up experience on offer. Summer is almost upon us, and that means it’s festival season! Now in its eighth year, Newark Festival is back with a stellar line-up of stars. On Saturday 15 June, in the beautiful setting of Riverside Park, ticket holders will get to enjoy headline act Razorlight, along with Lightning Seeds and The Feeling.

Ahead of the Unlimited Wellbeing Festival at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Sunday 12 May, we were invited along to a launch event for the festival. Eager to discover just what this unique festival would have to offer, we went along full of excitement and in need of some serious relaxation, especially after a hectic day in the office!
