Nottinghamshire enters the 'Very High' alert level of the UK Government's three tier system from Friday 30 October for at least 28 days. As a result of this, most indoor attractions will close, including museums, galleries and heritage sites. Theatres, cinemas and ice rinks may remain open with covid-secure safety measures in place. Restaurants and cafes remain open, but pubs and bars must close unless they can operate only as a restuarant, serving alcohol as part of a substational meal.
We will be updating the pages in this section with details of open venues over the next few days. You can find more information on the local restrictions here.
“We’re Good To Go” is the official mark released by VisitBritain to highlight the tourism and hospitality businesses which have worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines with applied guidelines and processes in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.
The industry standard and consumer mark is now available to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for businesses, attractions and destinations as well as reassurance to local residents and visitors that clear processes are in place and that as a business you are good to go. Look out for it when you visit Nottingham.
